高松の家
市街地(準防火地域)にある住まい。
交通量の多い前面道路への配慮や、
周辺の背の高い建物からのプライバシーを確保しながら、
いかにして落ち着いた居住環境をつくりだすか。
1、ガレージや茶室や玄関のある棟
2、リビングやダイニング、キッチンなどのある棟
3、寝室や書斎など個室がある棟
の三つの棟と、それらをつなぐ接続部に諸機能をまとめ
各棟で主庭を囲い込むように配置することで、
街中の喧騒とは異なる時間の流れをつくりだそうと考えた。
また、断熱性能はG２グレードを満たした上で
耐震性能をより高めるべく、
木造と壁式鉄筋コンクリート造の平面混構造を採用している。
部分としては複雑ながらも、全体としては明快な構成にしようと努めた。

The challenge was creating a calm living environment along a busy street that ensures privacy from the surrounding high-rises.
The three wings

are arranged so that they enclose the main garden, with functional areas in the connections. In this way, they create a flow of time that is separate from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Each part is designed to be complex, but the overall structure is clear.
